Education Providers
The Education Providers listed below have registered a financial planning curriculum that satisfies the FPAS education requirement. The FPAS does not endorse one program over another. All programs cover the same core curriculum for the CFP certification programme, yet vary in style, length and delivery methodologies.
Programs can also differ in their delivery methodologies with some having traditional classroom-based instructions and others offering self-study or on-line courses. The Education Provider(s) will be approved/accredited after satisfying FPAS Minimum Criterion for Potential Education Providers.
Because the educational offerings are so varied, consider asking the following questions of the education provider:
- How will your program make me a better financial planner?
- How much does your program cost? Does that amount include books, test and other fees? What are the dates of availability; cost of updates, if any?
- How do you schedule your courses? How often are courses offered?
- What are the credentials of the faculty?
- How do candidates sign up, receive materials, ask questions or access faculty?
- Does the provider have written complaint policy/procedures?
- Are there policies of exclusions or exceptions of eligibility?
FPAS do not exercise control over the administrations and charging policies by the various Education Providers approved by FPAS. However if you feel strongly on certain issues, please feel free to let us know. You can reach us at:
